Educating consumers about the taste, nutritional benefits and overall
versatility of avocados through food and nutrition marketing
has been key to the success of avocado growers.
We represented the California Avocado Commission across the
country meeting with food editors, chefs and nutrition leaders
at trade shows and special events. We built strategically-targeted
media outreach
programs that linked avocados to major consumption periods
like Super Bowl, Cinco de Mayo and other key holidays. The
program achieved over
1 billion media impressions through intense public relations
efforts and changed consumer perception and purchasing habits
for California avocados. |
