This is a special Sunday that only comes around once a year. Families can celebrate being together, and Mother’s can enjoy being catered to “their special day”. Guests can select from an expansive and delicious brunch in the Grand Ballroom, or a sit-down dining experience in the First Cabin Restaurant.

The Grand Ballroom- Champagne Buffet Brunch
Chef Josef Lageder and his team are hard at work preparing an amazing buffet brunch in The Grand Ballroom. There will be freshly tossed salads, such as: yellow and red plum tomatoes, thinly sliced cucumbers in white balsamic vinegar and olive oil, BBC bay shrimp salad in lemon herb dressing, orzo pasta salad, and a selection of antipasti salads. Imported and domestic cheeses and California fruits will be displayed, as will assorted shelled seafood on ice, smoked river trout, delicate teriyaki-grilled salmon and freshly made sushi.

Among the hot entrees will be nine different tempting offerings — from eggs benedict, to grilled chicken, ricotta cheese ravioli with artichokes and yellow tomatoes, to sautéed spring vegetables. From the “must experience” carving station guests will enjoy a choice of either: roasted NY sirloin in mustard herb crust, or rosemary-garlic Colorado leg of lamb with complementary condiments, of course!

For those who enjoy desserts, BBCR has many “hard to resist” choices in store for guests. The waffle and ice cream station is always a hit with the children…. as they watch their waffle be cooked and then dress their masterpiece with endless choices of ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The pastry kitchen is also busy creating delectable desserts from designer cakes & pastries, to bread pudding, exotic fruit tarts, artisan chocolate truffles, Valrhona chocolate tortes. Free-flowing champagne, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea will be served. Brunch will be served from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 11th. The price is $74.00 for Adults and $36.50 for children under 12 years of age (plus tax and gratuity).

The First Cabin Restaurant- Serving ‘a la carte Brunch
For a more intimate experience, The First Cabin offers four-diamond fine dining and will welcome guests to enjoy an ‘a la carte brunch served tableside. Brunch will start with guests being served breakfast pastries and their choice of one glass of Mimosa or fresh squeezed orange juice. Appetizers will be a selection of either: BBC Maine Lobster Bisque au Cognac, Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna, Classic Caesar Salad, or Arugula, Spinach & Wild Watercress salad with toasted walnuts, crispy bacon and strawberries/pears. For the main entrée, guests will find it difficult to choose from a delectable selection, including but not limited to: Classic Poached Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Mango Curry, Peaky Toe Crab Stuffed Jumbo Prawns, Macadamia Nut Crusted Hawaiian Mahi Mahi, Grilled Petit Filet Mignon, or Cinnamon French Toast. Coffee and tea will also be available. Brunch will be served in the dining room from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. The cost is $48.00 per person (plus tax and gratuity). A Children’s menu is also available for the under 12 set.
